General Play Scores - The Process

To submit a General Play Score for handicap purposes you must register your intent to play before you play your round. You can do this in one of three ways:

  • Register & submit a score using the igMember App (see process below)
  • Register & submit a score using the Touchscreen (see process below)
  • In cases where it is not possible to use the igMember App or the Touchscreen you may register by recording your details in the book/file in the Prop Shop

WHS Rules of Handicapping

Rule 2   -  Course must have a current Course Rating and Slope Rating where length and normal playing difficulty is maintained at a consistent level.
Rule 2.1a   -  A player is required to pre-register their intent to submit an Acceptable Score in General Play before the player starts the round.
For members of other clubs: If a score is not returned on the Club's software or on the Golf Ireland App, the completed Scorecard must be returned to the Home Club with evidence of pre-registration (i.e. photocopy/photograph of this form) as soon as possible to ensure the score is recorded.
